Lessons from the Tao of H2O color

lesson #1
The Universe
like a bellows,
is always emptying,
always full.
The more it yields,
the more it holds.
Tao Te Ching

a simple law of the Universe.
The more you give
the more you receive
~
lesson #2
Let life ripen and then fall;
Force is not the way at all
                                                Tao Te Ching

Let go of  any precious plans
you may have for your work.
Learn to go with the flow.

A dear friend Judie recently sent me a beautiful book.
 The Tao of Watercolor
I LOVE IT!

To me much of doing art is a spiritual practice
so this book will be well used.
AND
It is delightful to play
with watercolors again.
Thank you Judie
Hmmmm
consider lesson #1

  6. Same picture, different colors, totally different emotions evoked. I thought I would be drawn to the blue but it was the red that drew me in.
