K is for kiva haiku my heart

journey to Chaco
over dusty bumpy road
to place of my dreams

massive pueblo site
ceremonial kiva
civilization

center of ancient
sacred calendar

 line up with the sun
experience the solstice
at Chaco Canyon

A few years ago I followed my heart
to
Chaco Canyon New Mexico,
during the summer solstice.
Haiku my heart soared.
