W is for water color Haiku my heart

Red water color
runs as blood from a rose thorn
like he tried to say

~
This watercolor is for Kim's Red journal.
The idea came from a line in the song
Starry starry night.

  6. I LOVE everything about this,
    the haiku,
    sacRED (how clever)
    and the rose!!!
I wanted to paint roses for a long time,
almost put some in a painting, but chicken-ed out...
    Yours is so good!
I will try again one day.

  9. Aaah, you have me humming that song now. Is there a line in that song that mentiones blood or drops or roses? Hm, I will have to check that out right away (otherwise I cannot sleep tonight. Do you know that feeling when your mind won't rest until you found the answer?) Anyway, Happy weekend to you Gemma!

  10. Ha, found it! "The silver thorn of bloody rose..." And it still is a very sentimental but wonderful song...
