  1. I love that photo! The lace curtain against the rough wood and stucco is beautiful. And the haiku says it all. It's the same here.

  2. Oooh Gemma. I love the way this window looks. Janet has it right, the rough wood and stucco is totally beautiful. I love the look. My overhead fan is on right now. Later it will be my air conditioner. Yes we grow a lot and the beds are very long as you see and we give a lot of our growth away. Thx for stopping by my blog and I really love this picture you have of your window. Take care.

  3. Heat seems to be on everyone's mind these days with the weather affecting our lives. I turned off the oscillating feature and have my fan directed in a straight line into my face. I'll embellish that when I ride the motorcycle later today with some friends. I suppose you have either air conditioning or a swamp cooler. Both give relief from the sometimes harsh effects of nature.

    Much Peace sent your way

  10. Even up in Prescott, we have to have the fans constantly going...my husband and I don't even have AC! Stay cool!

  11. I love this photo!
And your poem...fans are what we use too,
just the movement of air is enough to help
    you breathe.

  13. Love this picture. It reminds me of the birds nest on a window ledge at the St. Francis Chapel in Fransiscan University in Steubenville, Ohio. Both are old, long empty and holding the place forever.
