postcards from Paradise

It was a slow week,
hot,
not much going on.
Under a cloudy sky
 in Caitlin court,
I enjoyed Peach and Habanero sorbet
peacefully.
Went inside where it was cooler
to
browse through layers of
lace, shells, and marcasite.

Another day and a  much hotter one
 @ the Thieves market,
beautiful lace chaps on display.

Mad dogs and Englishmen
go out in the noon day sun.

Call me a mad dog.
Call me an  Englishwoman
