Green bark, soft foliage,
 welcoming shade on pathway
Palo Verde Tree

Our desert is open and bright with sunlight.
Our beautiful plant life
makes for a lovely
nature walk
among friendly
Palo Verde trees...

    Dear Gemma, the Palo Verde tree is one of my favorites. I fell in love with this tree on my last visit to Arizona. Imagine my delight when I discovered that one of my neighbors has this amazing tree in their front yard! Now your beautiful haiku and image. I am right there, walking that beauty path... thank you!

    the palo verde has been close to my heart from days so long ago. treks to mexico and camping in the shade of this graceful beauty. i think of you always with great warmth and affection. thank you gemma for your place in my heart.
