Actively seek silence by taking meditative moments throughout your day.
Pause, take a deep breath, hold it , exhale,
let go of stresses and tension in your body.
This can be done any time and any place.
It's a little thing but it brings you to the present moment and helps with clarity.
A favorite mindful meditation of mine is done while eating alone. Each bite is slowly taken in with gratitude, enjoying the taste to the fullest,
no thoughts, other than the pleasure of each bite.
A few minutes of mindful meditation when you wake up and before you go to bed is a simple way to start. Set aside some quiet time to
just enjoy silence.
