Twelve days of Mary ~ day Seven

When I was 50 years old,
I hiked to the bottom of the
Grand Canyon
with a group of friends.

Hiking in was arduous.
Hiking out?
Done
with prayers to Mary
Mother of God.

  1. This is my absolute favourite image Gemma. Did you enhance it with the blue colour? I would like to copy it - would you mind? Thank you for your enthusiastic response to my Mary deck - I really appreciate it - I have hardly shared any of the 78 shrines and I suppose I had been a bit scared of other's reactions, but now I feel so much more confident, thank you!!

    1. Hi Hettienne, Your shrines are amazing. Love that you've made them into a Mary Tarot deck.
I copied this image from the internet. The beautiful face reminds me of my experience.

  2. Hiking out was perhaps the best because you were not alone in spirit. This is a wonderful memory, Mz. Gemma. I especially liked your image yesterday of Mary and the rose. xoxo ...(still thinking and planning on that other issue....)

  4. This is one of my favorite images and I have used it often in my various art projects. I have never seen it tinted like this before and I like how you did it very much. As for your Grand Canyon trek, I'm glad you got heavenly help when you made the ascent. Even when I was 50 I would not have been able to do this.
