creating a monster

The other day I was putzing through bits and bobs, assorted fabrics and whatnots....when I came across a small peice of pink felt.

Should it stay or should it go now?

Decided to monkey around with it...
Maybe make a face.

There was nothing particular planned.
Quilted here and there...

It's a monster.

Maybe you'll see it again around Halloween,
after a bit more quilting.....and some beads
wearing a big pink bow.

Muah ha ha

  1. Oh wow, I love that. I have something I am working on that is similar to what you have, except mine is a skull that I cut out of white sheet and I'm using other materials for the eyes, etc. I just love the way you made his eyes dark and piercing. The materials are great.
Thanks for sharing Gemma. Have a great Wednesday.

  2. Great dimension!! think he'
    ll hang around till Halloween?

  3. Oo - spooky fun! Does he have a name? Franken-pillow - or Count Drac-pilla, or - or...Ok, I'll stop now. What fun though!

  4. Here's when the stitches take on new meaning, eh? He is quite sweet, and eerie. Way to take advantage of a small find.

  5. I think this is such a unique piece, Gemma! I can't wait to see what else you come up with!

  6. Love him. I have bunches of felt that I should get out and play with. Love Hugs and Blessings

  7. how come all these other people can see him and I can't? Where did he go? I'm sulking now.

Go check out Gillian's post. You'll love it.

    Still sulking..........xoxoxoxo
