In my lifetime I always yearned for that adobe. I know now that it is not to be, because I will not move out of state. So I settle for the lesser of it. We, (husband and I) are making plans to build me a 16x16 studio out in the backyard. I will have the outside done adobe looking hopefully. Those are great pictures and I love those chili's. Nice post. Oh, I did a post on the "Where I'm From" or at least I tried. I enjoyed it, memories brought back. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Gemma! Don't know if you'll have time or interest, but wanted you to know you are invited to play along for our new Day of the Dead swap, fest, etc...
Gorgeous! I especially like that purple and orange combination. Sigh - adobe speaks to me to. I wonder why it appeals to so many people. Because it is earthy?
Gemma!!!!! Hey Gemma... :) How you doing? I miss the desert, I miss not smelling, seeing, wallowing in Sedona.. I miss you!! Peace, Mrs C. <~~Makes ya giggle..lol
There is no shortage of beauty in that peaceful city, nor in your blog! The colors in the photos are breathtaking! Wishing you lots of abundance as your birthday approaches!
Wow, love those pictures -- I can't even pick a favorite, they all go together so beautifully. Someone above said they'd make great postcards, and I agree!
