My house is in the desert.
It's an ordinary house.
Inside my ordinary house
there are some rooms.
In those rooms
there is a woman
that woman is me.
Inside me there is a sacred place,
and inside my sacred place,
there is a light.
May it shine and warm me up.
May it shine out onto you.
And here is to the light in you....
Gemma,
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. I am talking about both the words and the art. How wonderful that you are accomplished at both.

ReplyDeleteAnd the light comes back to you, spiritual one. xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteAnd what a gorgeous light it is, Gemma. I can feel it like the morning sun all the way over here. And it's nighttime :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Light. Thanks for sharing that light. If I don't see you between now and Thanksgiving, have a great one and take care.
ReplyDeleteOh, lovely, lovely light! The words were just perfect for the visual. :)
ReplyDeleteGemma, such wonderful sentiments! Somehow, the rhythm and verse itself reminded me of that old kids' song...There was a cat that a rat, I don't know why he ate the rat...spiders and flies...LOL Do you remember that one? I can't (obviously) remember the exact words, but your verse cadence just brought it to mind. teehee
