Last few hours of 2011
The ham is in the oven.
Potatoes, Brussel sprouts, and herbs are roasting.
Fresh rolls and other treats are ready.
The family will be here at 6PM.
Tonight we celebrate New Years Eve.
The children will bang pots and pans long before midnight.
We don't stay up that late around here anymore.
My bet is by 10:00 PM everyone will be on their way home.
We will wake in the morning to all the possibilities awaiting in 2012.

    Hello Gemma,
    I love the old typewriter. I am reminded of famous writers who would use nothing else but these old keys to bang out a masterpiece. I love that you did this for the New Year.
