Great pictures and Haiku Gemma. We have a lot of quails. Rather, my husband raises and sells them. I don't know anything about them except that their birds. tee hee. Have a great weekend.
The first time I ever saw this kind of quail was when I went to Carson City to visit Aleta. They are such elegant little creatures, but you have to be quick to see them because they hide in the bushes quickly. There were quail where I lived in NC, but not these little crowned beauties, but rather the shooting/eating kind (not me!) Thanks for the pleasant memory. xoxoxo
i love the first sight of the young families...so many babies the size of quarters with legs following mom! lovely haiku and enduring captured of the little darlings!
