Haiku my heart
stacks of red fabric
eight sewn together in strips
cut, frayed, Chenille
~
I love chenille
It is a strong beautiful fabric
Survivor of many cuts and stitches,
yet as soft and resilient
as we are.

The haiku has taught me something about this fabric. Now, I can identify it and know some of it's properties. Thanks for the lesson. You wove these words together well. Nice heart!

"Now what?" the Heart cries.
ReplyDelete"Surely I have been made for bigger things, I know I have, I am quite sure."
There is a pause before Gemma responds.
"Dear Heart, you are bigger than you know,
just stay true."
to be continued...
Everything you do Gemma
is such an act of love.
