haiku my heart

walking stick bug found
by three mischievous kids
curiosity

it's twig-like body
crawled onto my grandson's hand
moving gracefully

this unique insect
a haiku unto itself
quietly exists

  7. This is a sweeeeeeeet post Gemma. And that bug...love that bug! Never saw one in real life. It does look just like sticks. Bet the kids loved it.

  8. How fun! A very interesting creature wonderfully described. I wonder if it ever makes a sound.
