It rarely snows in the desert.
If I want a white Christmas
I go out to the fields and pick cotton.
bring it home, rearrange Manzanita branches,
and add some bows.
twinkling white lights @ night.
Viola, desert Ikebana white Christmas arrangement!
THAT is beautyful,,,what a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember ever seeing a "real"
cotton ball with my own hands :)
When the hols are over, it will still be
the perfect little arrangement without the bows.
You are so damn creative!

Actually like it better without the bows.
DeleteI just LOVE the fluff of cotton plants. Your use of the bols on manzanita is a total success.
ReplyDeleteLove your cotton plants. I've never held one either. Love your state. I think of my dad being raised in Glendale. Have a great weekend Gemma. Take care..
