  3. This is beautiful, Gemma. I love the color and the architecture. Brings back the feeling I often have of wanting to knock on the door and ask if I can see the inside of their house! LOL Lovely!

  6. The virtual paint out idea is a good one! I like what you have done here...the sky is perfect!
I hope you post again when you finish...of course, I'm always seeing something to change after I post a painting!

  8. I some time walk in neighborhoods where old homes are. I love big porches.
The house I live in is about 30 years old.
But we try to have happy energy here.

    Coffee is on.

  9. The houses look great! I've been seeing these on other blogs....the Street View paintings. What a cool idea and a fun way to "see" the world!

  10. I love old houses too. This one you drew looks very much like an old Victorian house over on Fourth Street on Bismarck (also blue). For some reason, Bismarck has few Victorians. When I was a reporter, I always wanted to check out why, as Grand Forks and Fargo certainly have their share. Anyway, I always wanted a house with two stories and a front porch. I still want the front porch, but ouch, those stairs!

  11. Gaah - I always have to go through hoops to post a comment here. It takes at least three steps. Good thing I love ya so!

  12. Gemma! Love love loving your paintings and words -- love the Angles haiku -- when I first read it, I read Angels... you know, it works that way, too, oddly :) This illustration of the house is so great. The house itself but also the details in the sky and the grass surrounding, little growing things. Lovely! Miracles! k-
