In the other room

Lost perspective
non-spatial relationship
One dimensional
flat.

Bad art,crooked cupcake,
broken Portugese balcony,
tears on the table
splat!

  1. I just happened to be browsing blogs and saw your new post pop up. Such intense words Gemma, but then the more I read you, the more I see you are an intense woman. Beautiful words and great paintbrushes. They remind me of Frida's brushes. Take care.

  2. I came in to tell you I love the image. Those brushes are gorgeous.

Then I read glorv1's comment, and I am back in a discussion that started two weeks ago when my best friend told me I am intense. That was not a happy word for me, because the women in my family are known to be "intense" and it's not a positive description. :)

Anyway, I did have a good talk with my friend about what she meant, and she said she meant Passionate and Focused. Now that I can live with.

  3. I described myself as intense and anal to my pastor once. He chose to reclassify it as fiery and passionate. There you go. No tears, Gemma. I love your work. Of course, you can shed them for my output. That is enough to make one cry for sure! LOL

  5. I think Haiku is such a intense form of poetry!
    Your struggle comes through!
Hoping you have found the rainbow beyond!
