My daughter Amanda made her first turkey dinner this past season. She is on a Gluten free diet so all of her entrees were made without wheat or grains.
The menu:
Turkey
Mashed Potatoes
gravy ( made with rice flour)
Cornbread stuffing (parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme)
Sweet potato hash (Yams, black beans, and chilies)
Fresh green vegetables.
Peach and mango pie.
She is a happy homemaker.

  2. The menu sounds great - and the cook looks quite stylish too!
(I wish I had her skill in cooking dinner without wearing some of each dish! ;)

  4. Kudos to Amanda. Very brave to do a turkey on a non-holiday date. Of course, Jan. 6 was Epiphany, so that would count.
