    I find haiku so difficult to get my head around and yet yours are always so right on the mark - I'm impressed by anyone who can do that - and then I look at the hands and they're just FAB too. Oh my - so much goodness in one little post.

    What a great way to honor your mom, in haiku and art. Your map is wonderful. I know there are some books out about mapmaking in art journals but haven't read one yet. Are you a cartographer, by any chance?
